Femmepop is singer songwriter Margaret O' Sullivan from Cork. The Kick EP was her first commercial release. Self recorded and produced it also features Chris Geddes of Belle & Sebastian playing on the title track. She has had national airplay across Ireland's main radio stations such as 2FM and RTE radio 1 and recently BBC Music 6 in England.
She has recently played a string of London's top music venues including The Barfly and The Windmill to glowing reviews. She is already making comparisons to The Breeders and Sonic Youth. Dublin Castle London claims she's 'Hot Property'.
Femmepop's widespread appeal reaches as far as Japan with a recent chart position of Number 2 . Femmepop is currently working on her debut album which is due out in 2013 and the second single entitled '1983' has just been released from the album.
